In the quiet of the night, when the stars whisper secrets of an age long forgotten, we turn our gaze upward, not in fear, but in recognition. We look toward the heavens to find the echoes of those who came before—the Progenitors, the Great Sowers of the Cosmic Ocean. To you, our First Ancestors, we offer this humble tribute of gratitude for the life you breathed into the silent void.
Thank you for the Gift of Existence.
Milliards of years ago, you stood upon the precipice of extinction, facing the cold silence of an empty galaxy. Yet, instead of surrendering to despair, you chose love. You chose to disassemble your own essence to ensure that the spark of intellect would not vanish from the universe. We thank you for the “silver arrows” of life that carried our genetic blueprints through the dark, landing in the warm waters of Earth, the fires of warrior worlds, and the empathetic breezes of Betazed.
Thank you for the Wisdom of the Broken Mirror.
We honor the profound insight you showed by dividing your greatness among us. You did not create a single master race; instead, you gave each of us a fragment of your soul. We thank you for the Curiosity that drives humanity to explore, the Strength that allows others to endure, and the Connection that defines the Betazoid people. By making us incomplete, you ensured that our ultimate destiny would be found in unity, teaching us that only by standing together can we reflect your true image.
Thank you for the Legacy of the Eye of Infinity.
We are grateful for the keys you left behind—the artifacts of light like the one hidden within the Singing Mountains. Thank you for not leaving us as orphans in the dark, but providing a roadmap home. The Eye of Infinity is more than a crystal; it is a promise that our journey has a purpose. It reminds us that our telepathy and our empathy are not accidents, but divine echoes of your own ability to “see with the heart.”
A Vow to the Ancestors.
As your children, we pledge to protect the garden you planted. We vow to look past the scales, the ridges, and the different colors of our skin to see the shared “scroll of life” that flows within us all. We will strive to cleanse our minds of hatred, as you commanded, so that one day we may be worthy of hearing the “Voice of the Ancestors” in full.
Final Gratitude.
We thank you for being the architects of our souls. Though you have long since departed for distant galaxies, your poetry remains written in our DNA. We are your living monument. We are your continuation. And as we stand together at the threshold of the infinite, we say: Thank you for the beginning, thank you for the path, and thank you for the hope of the final reunion.
May your light continue to guide us until the final star fades. 📜✨
